These easy-drinking wines are fresh and fruity, with bright berry flavors.

Our Pick: Calypso Malbec 2009

Bright medium ruby in color, in the nose, it has the perfect balance of fresh and ripe fruits. Chocolate, pepper and spices become more prominent in the mouth, where cassis, berries and plum still remain. Ample, though not heavy, it has a long finish and delicate, mouthcoating tannins. This Malbec from Monteviejo winery is amazing for pasta lovers. Medium bodied, fruity and outstanding tannins. Our Pick: Cuvelier Los Andes Colección Blend 2008

With a distinctive French flair, this wine blends the best of the varietals to create this earthy, yet completely charming blend. Elegant with dark cherries laced with brown sugar, black pepper, honey and toast. It finishes with hints of minerality and smooth finish. This Bordeaux style Argentinian blend can surprise us. Earthy, peppery, complex and velvety tannins. Gives us the possibility to pair it with bittersweet beef and prune pie, seasoned with cinnamon, black pepper and toasted black sugar.

Bold, Voluptuous & Fruity

Try these velvety smooth, mouth-filling reds with intense, dark-fruit flavors. Often aged in oak barrels, they can have soft tannins, sspice and vanilla.

Our Pick: Recuerdo Gran Corte 2010

Very dark color, full bodied, delicious long lingering aftertaste, well balanced at this point with plenty of chalky spicy tannins that undoubtedly will get softer as it ages in the bottle. Aromatic dark fruit on the nose with a primary flavor profile of dark plum, mild oak influence, mocha, balanced tannins and black pepper on the late palate. The Vines top blend can't be absent in this holidays. Fruity, full-bodied and elegant tannins. Start the year 2014 enjoying it with friends, family and a bacon-wrapped rib eye with a raisin and peanut risotto.

Bold, Firm & Spicy

They are captivating and powerful, with complex flavors of black fruit, spice and vanilla. Get ready for big wines with firm tannins.

Our Pick: Gran Lorca Poético Petit Verdot 2008

Dark, burgundy color, succulent blackberries and accents from the oak – like graphite, earth, chocolate leather and smoke – are the perfect prelude for the dense tannins and a lengthy persistent finish. Mauricio Lorca definitely wrote the most beautiful poem with this Petit Verdot. Unusual french varietal grown in Uco Valley. Spicy, concentrated and powerful tannins. Fight the winter with this heavy red pairing it with roasted ribs with barbacoa sauce garnished with polenta seasoned with clove and nutmeg.
